Will Anchor Your Life disclose any of my personal information?

Anchor Your Life will not disclose any of your personal information, except as described below, or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or to protect the rights or property of Anchor Your Life.

Anchor Your Life uses reasonable precautions to keep your personal information disclosed to us secure. Anchor Your Life only discloses personal information in some limited circumstances, and the user is specifically informed of this when we collect the information.

Anchor Your Life does disclose aggregate user statistics (for example, 45% of our site users are between the ages of 35-45).

Will Anchor Your Life use my information for direct mailings?

Anchor Your Life gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe to our electronic mailings. We send out newsletters (and devotions) to subscribers on a regular schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on the type of mailing), and occasionally, we send out "special updates" when we think subscribers might be particularly interested in something we are doing. Users may remove themselves from these mailing lists by following the link provided in every mailing.

Anchor Your Life never shares their mailing lists with any third parties.

"Subscribe a friend" service - A reader can choose to subscribe someone else by clicking the link within the email. The reader must provide their name and email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used to let the recipient know who subscribed them to the service. The information is not used for any other purpose.

How is the information from surveys and polls used?

Anchor Your Life conducts user surveys to better target our content to our audience and to further educate users of our site. We share the compiled demographic information in these surveys on our site. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party. Anchor Your Life also uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience on our site and to better prepare future content based on our users´ interests.

 What else should I know about my privacy?

We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. Anchor Your Life does not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better site for you.
