Don't be deceived, don't be fooled. . .God cannot be mocked! There is a principle of order and consistency which is written into all life, physical and moral. If a
farmer sows pumpkin seeds he will get a pumpkin crop . . . wheat seed yields a wheat crop. . . sowing wild oats, doesn't reap strawberries!
If a farmer sows
plentifully, he can expect a plentiful harvest. But if he sows sparingly, then he will reap sparingly as well (2 Corinthians 9:6). And if a farmer wants a good crop, he
must use good seed. . . quality seeds produce a quality crop. . . bad seeds produce a bad crop. So if a farmer wants a bumper harvest, he must not only sow the right seed,
but he must also sow good seed, and sow enough seed. The kind of harvest is predetermined by the kind of seed he sows - both in quality and quantity.
Spiritually
speaking, how are you reaping now what you've sowed before? What are you sowing? Are you sowing at all? How are you looking for results when you haven't taken the
time to invest in sowing? Are you sowing "good seeds" in your life? When do you slow down and spend time with God? How consistently do you set aside time to dig
deep into His Word? When was the last time you spent an hour in prayer for someone else? REMEMBER: A man, a woman, a youth reaps what he or she sows!
